Corrin Pitluck
Evaluator

Corrin Pitluck serves as the internal evaluator for the Midwest Comprehensive Center and Southeast Comprehensive Center and is a researcher at the American Institutes for Research (AIR). Dr. Pitluck evaluates progress on comprehensive center projects using a modified contribution analysis approach to identify center impact in a complex organizational field while responding to updates in the U.S. Department of Education’s guidance. This work is conducted in a team context with other evaluators for the centers housed at AIR.

Dr. Pitluck builds logic models to guide technical assistance projects toward measurable outcomes designed to increase capacity at state education agencies. As the internal evaluator for centers serving a total of nine states, Dr. Pitluck is responsible for tracking progress on projects, evaluating fidelity of implementation, analyzing change in client capacities, measuring and communicating formative feedback on client satisfaction, and reporting outcome achievement.

Internal to AIR, she also trains center staff on developing qualitative data collection tools and standards for reporting findings for technical assistance support to clients. These trainings further develop center staff’s skills in practicing continuous improvement in project work, as well as prepare staff to model data collection and analysis processes for clients’ continuous improvement processes.
